THE COACH STANDARD
Strong coaching is not soft. It is precise—clear standards, appropriate load, honest feedback and an environment where athletes can learn without being reduced to the result.
Athletes develop inside the environment you repeat.
The goal is adaptation, not exhaustion.
Age groups contain different bodies, histories and confidence levels.
Mixed messages create unnecessary stress.
Performance changes often show up before an athlete asks for help.
The season is temporary. What athletes learn about responsibility can last.
MEASURE
DEVELOPAre athletes becoming more capable, or are we simply making the week harder? Review output quality, recurring pain, attendance, mood, enjoyment and total sport load before adding volume.
